Learn about Nimonic® 90, a precipitation-hardenable alloy composed primarily of nickel, chromium, and cobalt.
Nimonic® 90 Overview
Nimonic® 90 is a precipitation-hardenable alloy composed primarily of nickel, chromium, and cobalt. It exhibits excellent resistance to creep and high stress-rupture strength when exposed to elevated temperatures, performing reliably up to approximately 950°C (1740°F). This alloy is well-established and frequently utilized in high-temperature environments. Common applications include turbine blades, discs, ring segments, forgings, hot-working tools, and other components operating under extreme thermal stress.
