Learn about Inconel® 625, a versatile Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum alloy designed for corrosive environments.
Inconel® 625 Overview
Inconel® 625 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy recognized for its outstanding resistance to a broad range of corrosive environments. It is particularly effective against pitting and crevice corrosion. Its resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking makes it well-suited for use in seawater conditions. Additionally, the alloy offers excellent oxidation resistance, while its high strength is derived from the strengthening effect of molybdenum and niobium additions to its nickel-chromium foundation.
