Learn about Nitronic® 50, an austenitic, corrosion resistant Stainless Steel alloy suitable to Oil and Gas and more.
Nitronic® 50 Overview
Nitronic® 50 offers corrosion resistance that surpasses that of Type 316 stainless steel, along with strong mechanical properties at both room and sub-zero temperatures. Unlike many other austenitic stainless steels, it remains non-magnetic even after cold working or exposure to very low temperatures. These characteristics make it a suitable choice for demanding applications in the oil and gas, offshore, chemical, and marine industries.
