Learn about Inconel® 825, fit with oxidation resistance and protection across stress corrosion. Suited to the demands of the Oil and Gas industry.
Inconel® 825 Overview
Inconel® 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy that includes molybdenum and copper, offering outstanding resistance to both oxidizing and reducing acids. It is particularly effective against stress-corrosion cracking, localized pitting, and is notably resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acids. Alongside Alloy 625, it is considered one of the key nickel alloys used in the oil and gas sector. Its carefully balanced composition provides superior protection against chloride-induced stress corrosion, crevice corrosion, and general corrosion.
