Learn about C22 a Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum alloy offering excepional resistance and adaptability.
C22 Overview
Alloy C-22 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy that offers superior overall resistance and adaptability compared to other Ni-Cr-Mo alloys. It provides outstanding protection against localized corrosion and performs well in a wide range of aggressive chemical environments. This alloy is commonly used in highly corrosive conditions involving elevated temperatures and high chloride concentrations, such as in buffer solutions, pharmaceutical manufacturing, cleaning agents, fabric softeners, and even food products like soy and chili sauces. Alloy C-22, like many nickel-based alloys, is highly ductile, exceptionally weldable, and easily formed into complex industrial components.
